We have asked Nutritionist Sally Evatt to review our Sala – Meals and tell us what she thinks about them. And here are her thoughts:
1- Arabica Sala-Meal
A vegetarian favourite salad with an extra zing to really tantalise those taste buds.

2- Golden Beet Salad
Pretty spinach and carrot salad, sweetened by the deep, satisfyingly earthy flavour of beets.
Spinach, beetroot, pearl barley, chick peas, goat’s cheese, walnut and carrots with a balsamic dressing.
A colorful riot of flavor, the golden beet salad tastes just as good as it looked and is full of health boosting properties. Nutritionists will tell you that combining different colored veggies is a great way to get your five a day, and this little rainbow in a pot is no exception.
Beetroot is renowned for its health benefits and rich earthiness- just one mouthful and you know it’s doing you good. A real superfood, this tasty beet is packed with nutrients and of particular benefit to anyone looking for a little pick me up and is renowned for its ability to cleanse the blood and improve circulation. Creamy goat’s cheese works perfectly with beetroot, and since it contains half the fat of cheddar it’s a healthy option too. Spinach is rich with B Vitamins, Folic Acid and Iron, giving a radiant glow to the skin, and carrots deliver an extra boost of Vitamin C and Beta Carotene. 4- Sweet Potato Kale Salad
A superfood salad packed with vitamins, slow release carbs and lots of flavor.
Sweet potato, kale, quinoa, sweetcorn, black beans, feta cheese, walnut and balsamic dressing.
This health boost in a jar is full of good stuff, all brought together in one deliciously filling meal. Sweet potato is a great alternative its carb-heavy cousin, delivering a smoky earthiness that has enough energy to keep you going for longer and keep any naughty cravings at bay.
It’s full of vitamins and Beta Carotene too, which paired with kale makes this a real superfood combo. Kale is renowned for its health benefits- Iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium, Magnesium to name a few. The black beans and quinoa add just enough to fill you up, with the walnuts (a great source of protein and Omega 3) and sweetcorn adding another layer of texture and crunch. 5- Red Queen Sala-Meal
This amazingly healthy and colorful salad is our special way to enjoy quinoa.
Quinoa, carrots, sweet pepper, red beans, spinach, green beans, cherry tomatoes, honey and mustard dressing
Quinoa has really come into its own these past few years, with health enthusiasts using it as their go-to alternative to rice and pasta. Its combination of flavor, bulk and texture means it makes an interesting addition to any salad, and we’ve teamed it with some of its favorite veggie friends for a really healthy taste sensation. Carrots and sweet pepper are rich with Vitamins like A, D, C and Beta Carotene, and the beans also count towards your five a day at the same time as keeping you nicely full up.
Ever since Popeye showed off his bulging muscles in the last century, spinach has been famous for its health boosting nutrients- it’s packed with Iron, antioxidants and vitamins. Unlike Popeye’s rather sad looking strained boiled leaves, our spinach is fresh, crisp and tasty, working in perfect harmony with all the other veggies (let’s not forget our lovely juicy cherry tomatoes). A drizzle of honey and mustard dressing delivers a zingy top note, leaving you with a well-rounded and richly satisfying

6- Insalata Di Pasta

Mama Mia! If ever there was a salad that could make you feel like you’ve been fed by a great Italian chef, it’s this one. Packed with flavors of the Mediterranean and filling enough to keep you satisfied for hours, this hearty salad is perfect for dinner or lunch.
Most of us know that black olives are a staple of Italian dining, but did you know they’re also a great source of iron, vitamin E and copper. Because of their blood boosting properties they’re fantastic for keeping your energy levels high, boosting your circulation (which also means giving your metabolism a kick) and helping maintain glowing skin and nails. 7- Harvest Sala-Meal
A fruity-crunchy salad that you won’t want to miss.
Every so often a salad comes along that feels a little bit special, and this Harvest Salad is definitely up there. Think of it as being a little bit like a Chicken Caesar salad without the added fattiness that has been the downfall of so many dieters- our version is just as tasty but much easier on the waistline.
Rocca and chicken make a perfect pair, providing just enough protein to get those muscles working with an added hit of vitamins and essential minerals. Crisp, green apple adds a tartness which is ably balanced by nutty parmesan shavings and walnuts. Raisins add another layer of sweetness, while the sweet pepper and carrots deliver a delicious, Vitamin rich crunch. Topped off with a light drizzle of vinaigrette, this is a salad that tastes great and is really good for you too.

8- Vegan Protein Sala-Meal
Who said vegans can’t reach their protein target? This zingy, wonderfully filling salad has loads of muscle building power with none of the guilt of a meaty dish.
Broccoli, chick peas, quinoa, sweetcorn, crushed almonds, peas, sweet pepper, dates, lemon and tahini dressing.
It’s a myth that vegans can’t eat enough protein to build strong, healthy bodies- you just have to know where to look. This wonderfully filling and flavorsome salad is given a muscle building boost with its ample serving of crushed almonds; renowned for their heart healthy essential fats and big doses of protein. Chick peas and quinoa are renowned for their ability to bulk up salad and deliver slow release carbs, and we probably don’t need to tell you about all the great stuff broccoli contains (iron, antioxidants, Vitamins A, D, K, C, Magnanese, Calcium, the list goes on….)

9- Fisherman’s Sala-Meal
Sweetcorn and Dijon mustard give this tuna salad a bit of a kick.

Bonnie and Clyde, Posh and Becks, Tuna and Sweetcorn- some pairs were just born to be together. This zingy twist on a classic dish is packed with flavour and protein, giving your body lots of muscle building power and plenty of fuel to keep going all day long.
We’ve added black beans to this tasty salad- they work perfectly with the tuna and make you feel fuller for longer- perfect if you’re trying to lose weight and resist naughty snacks while you’re at work or play. Lettuce, green and carrots add some more vitamins and an extra bit of crunch, while the juicy, ripe cherry tomatoes bring just enough sweetness to satisfy your cravings. Tomatoes are also another great source of vitamins and antioxidants too, protecting your body from cellular damage, improving cognitive function and helping you maintain overall good health. Many lifelong meat eaters tend to stay away from salads, passing them off as rabbit food. Not this one. Our Hunter’s salad is enough to satisfy all your primal cravings, giving you a deliciously meaty hit that’s bursting with flavor and protein.
Kale is the wonder veg of the moment, and it’s no surprise when you consider just how many great vitamins and nutrients are hidden in those rich, dark green leaves. There’s loads of iron in kale, which combines effortlessly with the steak to get those red blood cells working harder to keep you healthy and full of life. Creamy avocado adds those all-important good fats, while the yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce add some more layers of crunch and flavorsome goodness.
